In 2003 Inspira Gastropodium became the 21st Reigning S.L.U.G. Queen of Eugene, Oregon, USA. As a royal member of S.L.U.G. (the Society for the Legitimization of the Ubiquitous Gastropod) she lives by the motto, “Once a Queen always a Queen!” During her reign she coined the slogan, “Bribe Early, Bribe Often!” To inspire wanna-be Queens to do whatever it takes to win the coveted title of S.L.U.G. Queen.
